Sara Stratton, PA-C, Ph.D.

Physician Assistant

In 2011, Sara became a licensed Physician Assistant through the University of California Davis Medical School.  She has worked in a variety of medical settings, such as community clinics, county psychiatric services, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency departments, and hospital medicine. Prior to her work as a Physician Assistant, Sara worked as a high school science teacher, environmental health research scientist, medical writer, and as a medico-legal analyst.

After 6 years of working in the healthcare field, Sara joined Duffy’s medical team in Calistoga.  As an addiction medicine provider, Sara enjoys seeing people explore their emotional courage, with self-reflection, and honesty.   She has a strong connection to Duffy’s and believes it has a rare family-like environment that gives warmth and care to all its staff and guests.  Sara’s role at Duffy’s is to ensure you have a medically safe detox, and to provide you with plenty of support, psychological tools, and educational resources that are tailored for your specific needs.
