Tyler Hart

Director of Operations

Tyler has been with Duffy’s Napa Valley since the fall of 2021 when he was hired as Director of Utilization Management. He quickly demonstrated his aptitude for leadership by working across departments to improve patient care coordination and communication between staff and insurance companies. Through his diligent efforts, Tyler has helped many guests maximize their healthcare benefits and secure the treatment time necessary to recover. In recognition of his exceptional work, Tyler was granted supervision of Duffy’s admissions department and gained the title of Director of Admissions and Utilization Management in July of 2022. His experience also includes working with the Regional Admissions Director to develop and operationalize a regional admissions team that supports all of Acadia Healthcare’s California substance use disorder treatment facilities. In April of 2024, the scope of Tyler’s oversight was further expanded when he moved into his current role as the Director of Operations.

Tyler is a long-time advocate for vulnerable and underserved populations, working in nonprofit management for several years before coming to Duffy’s. He developed and oversaw rehabilitative and reentry programming for justice-impacted individuals in local and state correctional facilities. Additionally, he designed and implemented innovative hybrid support systems for Napa County transition-aged youth that were negatively impacted by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Tyler’s experience also includes managing drop-in day centers, providing trauma-informed therapies and wrap-around case management services for homeless and foster youth in Napa, Solano, and Sonoma counties.

A lifelong servant of the people, Tyler has been very active in his local community. He has served as a member of the Human Services and Addiction Studies Community Advisory Board for the Napa Valley College, a project manager for Napa Valley Community Organizations Active in Disaster (NV COAD), and a sitting member of the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council, SB 823 Subcommittee, of Napa County.

Tyler earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, with an emphasis in Ethics, Justice, and Policy, from California State University, Chico, where he is currently completing his Master of Business Administration.
