On February 21, 2014, Duffy’s became a Premier Organizational Member of NAADAC, a national organization that provides education, clinical training and certification for addiction professionals.

This certification helps Duffy’s stay on the cutting edge of the addiction profession and ensures that the clinical care offered at Duffy’s is rated among the best in the world.

About NAADAC

NAADAC stands for the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. In 2001, the organization changed its name to NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals to reflect the increasing variety of addiction services professionals.

According to its 1998 mission statement, NAADAC exists to “lead, unify and empower addiction focused professionals to achieve excellence through education, advocacy, knowledge, standards of practice, ethics, professional development and research.”

The organization now boasts a global network of over 75,000 addiction-focused health professionals. NAADAC is a leading advocate for high quality, current scientific based addiction health services for clients, families and communities.
